Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 彭谦昆 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leonardo Leoz fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Leonardo Leoz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great ball. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 陶升振 to make the kick off. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 彭谦昆 could save by the left post. In the 72nd minute, 陶升振 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 林庭烨 in the 76th minute of the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 一⑤一⑩&九⑨归①.Nanjing.FC reached it. In the 94th minute, Leonardo Leoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 姜海义 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
