Julio Vera was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Marcel Nascimento capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcel Nascimento really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 13 minutes into the match, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Marcel Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 17 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Marcos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Santo Marcos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play. Julio Vera didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Marcel Nascimento scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 4-1. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Garðar Jóhannsson was substituted for Percy Madureira. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Giuseppe Ramalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.
The wind increased when Marcel Nascimento made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcel Nascimento went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Nascimento in the 55th minute of play. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcel Nascimento took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Santo Marcos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 62nd minute. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcel Nascimento went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Santo Marcos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save TRICOSHOW F.CLUB from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Marcel Nascimento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute, Marcel Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santo Marcos. Santo Marcos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Nascimento in the 83rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcel Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 86 minutes into the match, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's goalkeeper Santo Marcos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 88th match minute, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Novaes to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santo Marcos. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 9-3. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
