In the 55th minute Miguel Miralles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siegmund Nickel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, West Staines Massive's Siegmund Nickel got control of the ball when Felipe Ros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alex Cambeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Siegmund Nickel made a huge save. In the 86th minute, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. Siegmund Nickel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in West Staines Massive's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siegmund Nickel came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Siegmund Nickel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Panama's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
