Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, BAŞBUĞ's Nilmar Marinho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. 33 minutes into the match, Nilmar Marinho notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BAŞBUĞ fully deserved thier win.
