In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Melker Gudmundsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Steven Homan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With his leg Ricardo Zorita managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Homan in the 20th minute of the match. SV Balverliefd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jimmy Stenberg in the 22nd minute. The corner led SV Balverliefd's Felix van As to fire away a dangerous shot which Ricardo Zorita despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Steven Homan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. El Salvador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jimmy Stenberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Felix van As got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-0. 28 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Steven Homan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Steven Homan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steven Homan struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Balverliefd. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Steven Homan sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 3-0 after 37 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Steven Homan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Steven Homan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steven Homan in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Steven Homan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Steven Homan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentino Ferrant charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentino Ferrant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant got a free kick in the 47th minute. Melker Gudmundsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere.

Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Homan, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Homan in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Homan in the 61st minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steven Homan might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steven Homan ran back to his position shaking his head. 66 minutes into the game, Steven Homan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 74 played minutes SV Balverliefd got a freekick which was hit by Felix van As. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Homan in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Steven Homan made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Melker Gudmundsson scored 9-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the SV Balverliefd players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
