With a little luck, Bolivia's Camilo Freixa got control of the ball when Sidnei Baptista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Orlandus's late challenge caught a Bolivia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sidnei Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidnei Baptista got free with Camilo Freixa in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Adilson Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos Campineiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Adilson Camargo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Freixa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adilson Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Sidnei Baptista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidnei Baptista got free with Camilo Freixa in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sidnei Baptistas short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Camilo Freixa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 44 in the game by Sidnei Baptista from a close distance when the talented Camilo Freixa managed to make a qualified save. Bolivia's players were relieved. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Santos Campineiro's Sidney Albuquerque was substituted for Onuralp Ergüden. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sidney Albuquerque to make the kick off. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Enekoitz in the 55th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes of play, Santos Campineiro's Anibal Enekoitz made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Freixa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 6-0 became the score in the 69th minute when Sidney Albuquerque elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Anibal Enekoitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santos Campineiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Adilson Camargo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Santos Campineiro's Sidney Albuquerque. But to his dismay, Sidney Albuquerque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. 91 minutes into the game, Santos Campineiro's Anibal Enekoitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Freixa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. In the 93rd match minute, Santos Campineiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Pitta to maneuver through the defense. After 97 minutes, Alejandro Villa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolivia and the Santos Campineiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alejandro Villa hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Santos Campineiro walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
