When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Aníbal Sá took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aníbal Sá in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute Nilmar de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taquaritinga's Aníbal Sá made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aníbal Sá in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Sá in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. After 65 played minutes, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Tarcisio Couto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clube Atl. Taquaritinga reached it. With a little luck, Clube Atl.
