Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Seco made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Clube Atl. Taquaritinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philippe Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Aníbal Sá sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Aníbal Sá fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Haroldo Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aníbal Sá did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso 19 minutes into the match. Philippe Alcântara's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Philippe Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philippe Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Aníbal Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Aníbal Sá nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After having played for 40 minutes, David Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aníbal Sá in the 43rd minute. Camilo Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Lima. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the game, Alberto Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Atl. Taquaritinga the free kick. Alberto Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Délio Coutinho took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Breno Loyola was substituted for Armando Graack. 60 minutes into the match, Breno Loyola notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Haroldo Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 63rd minute of the match. Maximiliano Escribano might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haroldo Dante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Escribano ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. After 67 minutes of play, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Breno Loyola made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Breno Loyola went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Haroldo Dante was a little too slow when Maximiliano Escribano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 7-1. 85 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Loyola came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Loyola in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Franco to maneuver through the defense. Aníbal Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Breno Loyola sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga had won after a very even match.
