Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Errapel. Jonathan Errapel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Maradona's Miguel Transito. But to his dismay, Miguel Transito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Jonathan Errapel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miguel Transito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Cordeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Miguel Transito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 37 minutes of play, Santa Maradona's Miguel Transito made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Rodolfo Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Laureano Sustrai came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Santa Maradona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laureano Sustrai couldn't finish the play. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jonathan Errapel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Santa Maradona's Rodolfo Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodolfo Cordeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Miguel Transito struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Maradona. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Cordeiro in the 56th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Santa Maradona got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Cordeiro. Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Secada in the 62nd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The corner ended in Haroldo Martxot almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 75th minute, Wei Kang Hai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Maradona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Beltxe in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 80th minute of play forced Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Jonathan Errapel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Transito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. If Laureano Sustrai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Errapel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute, Rodolfo Cordeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Maradona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Santa Maradona players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
