In the 5th minute, Caetano De Bruyne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Caetano De Bruyne came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Leão de Judá fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caetano De Bruyne couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Leão de Judá booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Caetano De Bruyne fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benito Sanz, passed just outside the right post. In the 14th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Caetano De Bruyne dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 2-0. After 22 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. Charlie Hennenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Cristiano Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristiano Azevedo went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When Leão de Judá's Caetano De Bruyne in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caetano De Bruyne to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Caetano De Bruyne made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Caetano De Bruyne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano De Bruyne in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Caetano De Bruyne notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano De Bruyne in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano De Bruyne in the 65th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano De Bruyne in the 66th minute of play. The Leão de Judá fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Leão de Judá's Caetano De Bruyne looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano De Bruyne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristiano Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Azevedo came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Caetano De Bruyne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano De Bruyne, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Caetano De Bruyne put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Cristiano Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Azevedo in the 90th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Leão de Judá's Caetano De Bruyne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nildo Leão hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. Leão de Judá's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
