Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaime Pardo kicked off to start the match. Jacobo Nores was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Valder Gausbo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valder Gausbo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 14th minute Hector Covarrubias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavi Liib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Catalin Haldan fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Catalin Haldan's Frédson Melo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 22 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Romo came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Frédson Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Frédson Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Catalin Haldan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valder Gausbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Catalin Haldan's goalkeeper Olavi Liib, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olavi Liib came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. But to his dismay, Hector Covarrubias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Paraguay's attentive Raul Venegas managed to snatch the ball when Živko Dabović made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. Živko Dabović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valder Gausbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Raul Venegas.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frédson Melo in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 52 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Melo came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catalin Haldan's Mihail Botgros was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jacobo Nores in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Iker Tafalla hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. A collision led to Catalin Haldan getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Valder Gausbo hit a great ball. In the 61st match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Zoido to maneuver through the defense. Frédson Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Valder Gausbo came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frédson Melo in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Živko Dabović left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Catalin Haldan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.
