El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute of the match, Benedict Zech tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ricardo Zorita saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Abram Luque charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abram Luque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Abram Luque hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Torrey Molloy came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of 1948 MKS booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zorita was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Benedict Zech capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benedict Zech really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. El Salvador's Luis Rubio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rudy Lukas in the 37 minute of the game. Torrey Molloy succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 39th playminute. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedict Zech in the 42nd minute of play. Moises Fernandino hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Torrey Molloy in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torrey Molloy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, 1948 MKS's Rigan Frankson made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Rigan Frankson came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the 1948 MKS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigan Frankson couldn't finish the play. Torrey Molloy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. But to his dismay, Kaine Kirby quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. 79 minutes into the match, Torrey Molloy notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benedict Zech struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1948 MKS. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Torrey Molloy sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. 1948 MKS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
