Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute, one of Inmortales FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Inmortales FC. Tomas Illescas walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Winkler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rolando Winkler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 19th minute of play forced Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Rolando Winkler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Mike Travis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-1. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Robby Zepeda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inmortales FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 40th play minutes Tomas Illescas shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Rolando Winkler and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Inmortales FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rolando Winkler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Secada in the 54th minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, Inmortales FC's Edward Carrasco made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 69 minutes into the match, Inmortales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Rolando Winkler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inmortales FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 71st match minute, Inmortales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Travis to maneuver through the defense. A.J. Whalen kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Tomas Illescas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Winkler. The goal made the score 2-4. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tod Clark in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Inmortales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tod Clark to maneuver through the defense. After 97 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. When the final whistle sounded Venezuela left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Inmortales FC.
