Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Luís Gustavo Pimenta started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Luís Gustavo Pimenta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cai Fei Cheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cai Fei Cheng. Cai Fei Cheng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mesere's goalie prevented a goal. Behe Ruisuarez struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mesere. After 19 played minutes Mesere got a freekick which was hit by Pacho Losua. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cai Fei Cheng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Luís Gustavo Pimenta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute, Placido Trabado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Mesere getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Pacho Losua hit a great ball. In the 36th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cai Fei Cheng showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Cai Fei Cheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. Placido Trabado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Luís Gustavo Pimenta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Behe Ruisuarez came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cai Fei Cheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 55th minute. Cai Fei Cheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Cai Fei Cheng in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cai Fei Cheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cai Fei Cheng. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Pacho Losua kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cai Fei Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Mesere's zone, Juan Sebastián Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cai Fei Cheng came out of the goal and Juan Sebastián Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mesere made a substitution. Xosepin Uruñuela replaced Edgard Maya. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Gustavo Pimenta's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Behe Ruisuarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Cai Fei Cheng made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 93rd minute of play forced Mesere's goalkeeper Cai Fei Cheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Gustavo Pimenta in the 95th minute of the match. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Mesere to leave the ground with a draw.
