Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 5th minute, Colombia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jan Höijer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jan Höijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Ekberg to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Landin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Landin in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Torgny Landin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Özkan Kayaer was slow to take the kick. During this time Boca Juniors's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Boca Juniors's Dimitris Panagiotakis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Jens-Åke Källberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Jan Höijer notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute, Samuel Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Jens-Åke Källberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Colombia's Santino Seco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jens-Åke Källberg. Jens-Åke Källberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Orlando Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Höijer in the 65th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. Jens-Åke Källberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 76th minute of the match. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens-Åke Källberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. 78 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 81st minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Münir Salih. Boca Juniors's Harry Hedling was substituted for Dimitris Panagiotakis. Boca Juniors's Edvard Dusett was substituted for Jan Höijer. After 88 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Münir Salih. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Rickard Löfgren made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 93rd minute of the match, Abram Secada got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jens-Åke Källberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Boca Juniors.
