After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Kenneth Will kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kenneth Will showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Kenneth Will scored 3-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute, Kenneth Will ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Kenneth Will tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Hugo Ferrant fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Hugo Ferrant a yellow card for diving instead. Hugo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, ☆冰谷☆〓新势力〓Genshin丨万叶YYDS's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Hortêncio Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costa Rica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Tasis in the 47th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Aaron Alcocer got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 4-1. 48 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Big Cai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Kenneth Will got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. Hortêncio Figueiredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artie Newton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Gaston Benino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artie Newton in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match.
