Attila Mesterházy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by László Madaras in the 11th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Máté Elek went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 43 minutes in the game Karel Suryoprayogo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to László Madaras. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Manea in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by László Madaras in the 66th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attila Mesterházy having to interfere. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC made a substitution. László Csank replaced Christian Kilstedt. With a little luck, Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Attila Mesterházy got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Calistrat Tomulescu was substituted for Karel Suryoprayogo. In the 79th minute of the game Calistrat Tomulescu made a throw-in which László Madaras played forward. In the 87th minute, Máté Elek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.
