When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Damiano Battisti. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 39th minute of play forced Eurospeed Asti's goalkeeper Damiano Battisti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Fausto Pinti sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd match minute, Eurospeed Asti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grant Irø to maneuver through the defense. Fortunato Borromeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere.

Eurospeed Asti's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eurospeed Asti's Damiano Battisti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 66th minute of play. Daniel Zorita in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Damiano Battisti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 71 minutes into the match, Eurospeed Asti's goalkeeper Damiano Battisti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
