Hisingen IK's Einar Jernberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Hisingen IK from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Hisingen IK's Bengt-Arne Wester got a free kick in the 12th minute. Einar Jernberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Sandell in the 15th minute of play. Mansfield Town FC were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Hisingen IK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maximilian Seger took the corner. Mansfield Town FC's Maximilian Seger was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Einar Jernberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Andreas Sandell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Einar Jernberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 39th minute, Andreas Sandell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Einar Jernberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A hard shot 45 in the game by Maximilian Seger from a close distance when the talented Einar Jernberg managed to make a qualified save. Hisingen IK's players were relieved. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andreas Sandell was the one to do the kick off. If Tor Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Einar Jernberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Sandell, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Maximilian Seger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mattias Gabrielsson kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Mansfield Town FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
