Luca Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Su Peng Jian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. GrassNuts FC were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pierre-Emile Højbjerg took the corner. Su Peng Jian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Su Peng Jian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 28th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vitaliy van der Aa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Vitaliy van der Aa managed to get in a good position for a shot.
