Sundborn IF vallen
Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ted Holmgren kicked off to start the match. If Ted Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 8th minute Alf Hansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Magnus Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kalle Askberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Holmgren in the 18th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ted Holmgren went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kalle Askberg. Sundborn IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Holmgren came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's Ted Holmgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sundborn IF's Heigo Valt was substituted for Henning Bennet. Sven-Olof Stephansson kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sundborn IF's Jan Håning got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Kalle Askberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Hansson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kalle Askberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Kalle Askberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 minutes, Jan Håning mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sundborn IF and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sundborn IF getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jan Håning hit a great ball. Sundborn IF's Kaloyan Mitashev was substituted for Ted Holmgren. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Sundborn IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Håning didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aqşin Aläkbärov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sundborn IF succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
