David Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 6th minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günther Doty in the 20th minute of play. David Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Abad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Günther Doty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. David Abad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peru's Milagros Fraga got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

Günther Doty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Abad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luz Tejedor in the 56th minute. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günther Doty in the 58th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Abad saved Chinese CJ Youth Academy from getting behind. In the 66th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 71st minute Günther Doty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Günther Doty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Xu Yong Feng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Günther Doty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Abad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Günther Doty came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Abad was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Antonio Tenorio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antonio Tenorio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Su Jian Jie kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Peru's Antonio Tenorio got a free kick in the 94th minute. When Luan Pombo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Chinese CJ Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luan Pombo couldn't finish the play. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
