The supporters of ACR SA booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, ACR SA's Zorko Hendrickx ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Fred-Marc Firmino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Nores didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. 43 minutes into the game, Alan Campos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ACR SA the free kick. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Alan Campos got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After 57 played minutes ACR SA got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Badanowski. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fred-Marc Firmino during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in ACR SA's zone, Primitivo Escribano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roch Olchawa came out of the goal and Primitivo Escribano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Fred-Marc Firmino came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the ACR SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred-Marc Firmino couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Covarrubias got free with Roch Olchawa in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 89 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pardo. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zorko Hendrickx, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Zorko Hendrickx came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zorko Hendrickx succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 7-1. ACR SA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Paraguay for a fine match.
