Camilo Freixa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paolo Rossi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 17 minute of play. Paolo Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paolo Rossi. 29 minutes into the match, Paolo Rossi notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Bolivia's Camilo Freixa. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. If Bruno Confesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Paolo Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo Fontirroig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrey Dvoryankin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Arsenal F.C.'s Paolo Rossi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arsenal F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Rossi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Daniil Fomin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Arsenal F.C.'s Stanislav Sharapov in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Arsenal F.C. fully deserved thier win.
