Zbyszko Andrzejewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 54th minute of play. Sebastian Villa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbyszko Andrzejewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Moises Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zbyszko Andrzejewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moises Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the game, Maksymilian Japola threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sosnowiec from getting behind. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C. Sosnowiec's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Sebastian Villa at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of F.C. Sosnowiec. 1-4. Zbyszko Andrzejewski made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. The F.C. Sosnowiec fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
