Hristiyan Tzukev charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hristiyan Tzukev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Knights Templar getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. In the 8th match minute, Knights Templar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zlatko Stumbov to maneuver through the defense. Bozhin Palakarchev came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Escribano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zlatko Stumbov got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Knights Templar's Joaquin Gayoso threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sava Dodov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A sloppy throw-in by Hristiyan Tzukev in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. 30 minutes into the match, Knights Templar's Sava Dodov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 1-1 became the score in the 35th minute when Sava Dodov elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Knights Templar booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sava Dodov, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sava Dodov to make the kick off. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sava Dodov in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Zlatko Stumbov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Knights Templar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A nice corner shot did that Acho Gergishanov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bozhin Palakarchev having to interfere. With a little luck, Knights Templar's Bozhin Palakarchev got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Hristiyan Tzukev threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 87 played minutes Knights Templar got a freekick which was hit by Albert Merodiyski. Sava Dodov kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
