Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Fernandino took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kelvin van Kempen. Kelvin van Kempen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Flashdynamica's Jurre Knol got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Flashdynamica's Daniel Hofsteenge got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mario Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guus Brunt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Camilo Freixa made a huge save. Alfonso de la Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Eduardo Fontirroig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kelvin van Kempen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute, Guus Brunt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half Bolivia were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Guus Brunt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Mario Fernandino. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guus Brunt in the 64th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kelvin van Kempen. Kelvin van Kempen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benito Madrid during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 72 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Benito Madrid. Denny Arnolds took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Alfredo Ferrant fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Alfredo Ferrant a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Hofsteenge struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Camilo Freixa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flashdynamica. After 86 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Julio Chicote. 87 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Guus Brunt came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Alfredo Ferrant hit a great ball. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guus Brunt in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bolivia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Denny Arnolds was slow to take the kick. During this time Flashdynamica's players had a chance to rest. Flashdynamica's Denny Arnolds was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Camilo Freixa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
