Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ola Lagerberg in the 10th minute. After 14 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Lagerberg came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amaro Casas took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 32 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Bahiano Camarasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amaro Casas in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xiao Gasso in the 37th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ola Lagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Triana Rep. Ind. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Elvio Olmos hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bahiano Camarasa saved Triana Rep. Ind.'s Ola Lagerberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Panama. In the 58th minute, Xiao Gasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ola Lagerberg in the 60th minute of play. Bahiano Camarasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Ros during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xiao Gasso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Triana Rep. Ind. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
