Haiti's Ernso Constant quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ernso Constant kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Gerrie Kuijsten could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Noel Seide however easily saved by the left post. Serge Fleur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Noel Seide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes in the game Marcus Zaagman did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gerrie Kuijsten. 38 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Alphonse came free, but Serge Buring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurice Haydon in the 81st minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Ágætis Byrjun's Gerrie Kuijsten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
