When Lauro Rosa fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's protests and gave Lauro Rosa a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Rosa. In the 11th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. İsrafil Mengü sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcos Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 21 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Murilo Lopez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Kenneth Söderqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 26th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Aybars Tuygun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aybars Tuygun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Murilo Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's Murilo Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 37th minute of play. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aybars Tuygun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 45 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Murilo Lopez in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when İsrafil Mengü came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's Murilo Lopez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Terra in the 62nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murilo Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Murilo Lopez made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Glaukia Plepi hit a great ball. Murilo Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 77th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Lopez having to interfere. Murilo Lopez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 93rd minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsrafil Mengü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
