Pedro Manzanares didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Surahammar's Radamel Oakley shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Colombia booed when Surahammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Brovall didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Surahammar's Markus Wallman got a free kick in the 15th minute. After some careless play in the Surahammar defense, Axel Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Lindström. The Surahammar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Lindström should have stopped the shot. Axel Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 42nd minute of play. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Surahammar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. Jan Lindström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. In the 52nd minute Radamel Oakley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Vincent Benett managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgil Van Dijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Radamel Oakley came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radamel Oakley, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Vincent Benett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. In the 84th minute Adrian Kodzhabashev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Surahammar getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Mark Brovall hit a great ball. A hard shot 89 in the game by Abram Secada from a close distance when the talented Jan Lindström managed to make a qualified save. Surahammar's players were relieved. Surahammar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Abram Secada scored to the left of an out of position Jan Lindström, making the score, 2-3. The supporters of Surahammar booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Mastache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colombia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
