In the 11th minute, Cassius Byrne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Radamel Oakley in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marco Day, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Radamel Oakley did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Marco Day 19 minutes into the match. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marco Day firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Radamel Oakley sent off a good shot on target. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Radamel Oakley's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Victor Santxol replaced Toninho Lara. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Benett in the 64th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Mcdonald came free, but Jan Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. USA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Santxol in the 84th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Santxol in the 85th minute of play. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Surahammar throughout the match.
