Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joan Quesada in the 9th minute of the match. Florin Stancu might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florin Stancu ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florin Stancu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Florin Stancu sent off a good shot on target. Garcia Osuna made in the 18th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Florin Stancu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Tião Amaral in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 29th minute, Tião Amaral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Muget fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tião Amaral's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tião Amaral in the 33rd minute. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Muget's Florin Stancu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 35th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Isac Gligor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 64th minute, Tião Amaral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tião Amaral's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Venezuela's attentive Jonathan Venegas managed to snatch the ball when Ernest Mazilu made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. Jose Correa was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Muget made a substitution. Dorel Dacian replaced Lino Quexal. In the 71st minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tião Amaral in the 77th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tião Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. The Muget fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Muget's Tião Amaral looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Joan Quesada came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Muget fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joan Quesada couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, Florin Stancu made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0.
