In the 13th minute of the match, Önder Ünlü tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Primitivo Andino made in the 15th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Daniel Zorita however managed to control. In the 18thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yaman Academy®'s Long Liang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 18 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Yaman Academy®'s Long Liang tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kerimhan Azim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Yaman Academy®'s Theo Hernández managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Primitivo Andino in the 29 minute of the game. It was a well-played corner which Paulino Maldini managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 41 minutes in the game Felix Montes did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Felix Montenegro. Kerimhan Azim struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yaman Academy®. Bastiaan Heirremans charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bastiaan Heirremans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Yaman Academy® getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Bastiaan Heirremans hit a great ball. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kerimhan Azim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Long Liang in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Long Liang to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 71st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Yaman Academy®'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerimhan Azim in the 72nd minute of the match. With 75 minutes on the clock, Enes Ortanca commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yaman Academy®! The goalkeeper, Long Liang, was totally fooled by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Cristian Sancho in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Long Liang, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Primitivo Andino made in the 89th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Felix Montenegro immediately put the ball in play. Paulino Maldini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The Yaman Academy® fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
