Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Eric Păvăloae started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Carballal during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Eric Păvăloae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eric Păvăloae in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Mihnea Iosub tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso was a little too slow when Eric Păvăloae got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Păvăloae went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute of the match Ninjas in Pyjamas got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rareș Tatulici ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 21 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Gisbert. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Păvăloae, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Eric Păvăloae could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Păvăloae in the 35th minute of play. Eric Păvăloae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Emanuele Clementi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arturo Carvallo, made in the 39th minute of the game. Eric Păvăloae might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eric Păvăloae ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Păvăloae in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Eric Păvăloae dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso, 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Păvăloae, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. After 52 minutes, Bruno Beldad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguay and the Ninjas in Pyjamas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Beldad to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the game, Eric Păvăloae cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Păvăloae in the 56th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Păvăloae took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Păvăloae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Cai Yue Guang got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mihnea Iosub took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Mihnea Iosub kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandru Negreanu in the 76th minute of play. Uruguay's attack was well implemented in the 77th minute, but when Francisco Seco was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 79thth minute of the game Eric Păvăloae who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Emanuele Clementi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 86 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Carvallo. When Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eric Păvăloae in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. Cai Yue Guang made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. Maximiliano Escribano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Cai Yue Guang made a huge save. Ninjas in Pyjamas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
