When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximiliano Manny made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Ros. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chuan Valluerca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the game, Isidoro Sarmiento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mariusz Kajdasz stood somewhat misplaced when Isidoro Sarmiento came free in front of goal and shot 4-2 to the left of him in the 72 minute. Zbyszko Czerniejewski hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Maximiliano Manny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Mariusz Kajdasz in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abner Quispe in the 91st minute of the match.
