Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Anselmo Papo came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Moises Fernandino. But to his dismay, Moises Fernandino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Esbjörn Fågel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Seb Thackray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zachariasz Hoffman scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stew Weeks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. If Seb Thackray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orson Mulford made in the 36th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fernando Grealish immediately put the ball in play. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Grealish, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Seb Thackray got free in front of the goal in the 39th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ricardo Zorita was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. El Salvador's attentive Lorenzo Yepes managed to snatch the ball when Orson Mulford made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Seb Thackray got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the match, Seb Thackray had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Seb Thackray was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
After 53 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Marco Tamayo. In the 55th minute Zachariasz Hoffman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zachariasz Hoffman went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Real Ale Madrid's Laurence Markham got a free kick in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the game, one of El Salvador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ricardo Zorita had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Orson Mulford's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 64th minute, Orson Mulford made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 68th minute Esbjörn Fågel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zachariasz Hoffman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Esbjörn Fågel notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute, Esbjörn Fågel made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Esbjörn Fågel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Ale Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Esbjörn Fågel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the match, Real Ale Madrid's goalkeeper Anselmo Papo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Fernandino. In the 89th minute, Stew Weeks made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. 93 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Esbjörn Fågel came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Esbjörn Fågel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esbjörn Fågel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1.
