Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Twan van Nistelrooij started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Ecuador booed when F.C. YKE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samet Ağar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 played minutes F.C. YKE got a freekick which was hit by Twan van Nistelrooij. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodri Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Twan van Nistelrooij blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 11th minute Twan van Nistelrooij shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 minutes of play, F.C. YKE's Twan van Nistelrooij made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! 14 minutes into the match, Twan van Nistelrooij had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Twan van Nistelrooij was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Traian Brăiloiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Leahu having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodri Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute, Traian Brăiloiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when F.C. YKE's Twan van Nistelrooij fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 55th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Leahu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Cristian Sancho's late challenge caught a F.C. YKE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Sancho helped the player get up and apologised. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. F.C. YKE's Felix Leahu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. YKE from getting a goal against them. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Felix Leahu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Twan van Nistelrooij took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Felix Leahu could save by the left post. Felix Leahu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Rodri Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodri Gol in the 86th minute of the match. Rodri Gol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. F.C. YKE made a substitution. Mugur Ceaușescu replaced Traian Brăiloiu. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. F.C. YKE had won after a very even match.
