Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Romeo Chelaru took the kick off in the first half of the match. Troy Kennedy hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Romeo Chelaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigore Eftimescu in the 4th minute of the match. Stanley Wallace sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocco Owen to maneuver through the defense. When Romeo Chelaru came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the MZ Rapid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Chelaru couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Romeo Chelaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Troy Kennedy got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Stanley Wallace had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Chelaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeo Chelaru's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Bruno Barrett skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Troy Kennedy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciprian Uncescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Romeo Chelaru who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Bruno Barrett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mihnea Grigoriu kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Curacao's Kyle Davies broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Romeo Chelaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Chelaru in the 34th minute. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Stanley Wallace hit a great ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Romeo Chelaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MZ Rapid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Chelaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Romeo Chelaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigore Eftimescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 43 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Troy Kennedy. Stanley Wallace hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Davies to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Curacao got a corner. MZ Rapid's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kyle Davies ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marshall Graham was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Petru Huștea struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MZ Rapid. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigore Eftimescu in the 61st minute of play. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeo Chelaru's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 67 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Petru Huștea came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grigore Eftimescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Harvey Doyle kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeo Chelaru's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Petru Huștea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MZ Rapid fully deserved thier win.
