Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexander Bottone started the match with the kick off. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo pulled a muscle in his leg after 3 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Alvaro Rotili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Alvaro Rotili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Alvaro Rotili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's goal looked a bit too open when Bautista Elvira came free, but Alvaro Rotili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenzo Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's goal looked a bit too open when Bautista Elvira came free, but Alvaro Rotili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Rotili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Rotili saved A.S. Udinese from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Alberigo Di Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Rotili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 31st minute of the match. Facundo Cadaval took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Rotili. Alvaro Rotili dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 42nd minute, Cristiano Paolucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Rotili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bautista Elvira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olivér Bierhoff hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Rotili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Rotili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute of the game Macos Graciani made a throw-in which Joel Gaona played forward. In the 59th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Rotili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Facundo Cadaval got free with Alvaro Rotili in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexander Bottone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. A.S. Udinese made a substitution. Bruno Maranzano replaced Alexander Damiani. In the 65th minute, Fortunato Angelucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Gaona was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A.S. Udinese's Ercole Fiorentino got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Rotili was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. A collision led to A.S. Udinese getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Dino Pozzoli hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ercole Fiorentino came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
