With his leg Edvin Bruhn managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Uruguay's Francisco Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kjell-Arne Skott struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ronnys Lärjungar. In the 91st minute, Sverker Björk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ronnys Lärjungar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Kjell-Arne Skott's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kjell-Arne Skott helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Ronnys Lärjungar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell-Arne Skott to maneuver through the defense.
