Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Berganza kicked off to start the match. Patrik Ahlrot took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of Ronnys Lärjungar booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ronnys Lärjungar's Kjell-Arne Skott in 11 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Marcos Cotilla guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 15th minute, Orvar Glanselius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Kjell-Arne Skott dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronnys Lärjungar's Kjell-Arne Skott slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 3-0 after 21 minutes of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell-Arne Skott in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Panama's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Patrik Ahlrot fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Kjell-Arne Skott took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Marcos Cotilla to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Ronnys Lärjungar defense, Tomas Berganza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edvin Bruhn. The Ronnys Lärjungar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvin Bruhn should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Ronnys Lärjungar's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvin Bruhn came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd match minute, Ronnys Lärjungar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold Butter to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ronnys Lärjungar's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvin Bruhn came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Beck came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edvin Bruhn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bertil Harlén's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertil Harlén helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Bertil Harlén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro got a free kick in the 76th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Ahlrot in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Alex Cambeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82ndth minute of the game Kjell-Arne Skott who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Panama's Tomas Berganza got a free kick in the 90th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sverker Björk went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Panama's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
