Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ronnys Lärjungar's Kjell-Arne Skott started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kjell-Arne Skotts short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tommy Beck in the 5th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvin Bruhn saved Ronnys Lärjungar from getting behind. After 14 minutes Ronnys Lärjungar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Jaime Cazalla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edvin Bruhn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 15th match minute, Ronnys Lärjungar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Esbjörnsson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 22 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Jaime Cazalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Bruhn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnold Butter made in the 27th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zebastian Larsfält. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tommy Beck in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Francisco Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edvin Bruhn was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Edvin Bruhn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Beck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Ronnys Lärjungar got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Broberg. After 56th play minutes Francisco Seco shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Edvin Bruhn and just under the crossbar into goal. A hard shot 59 in the game by Francisco Seco from a close distance when the talented Edvin Bruhn managed to make a qualified save. Ronnys Lärjungar's players were relieved. In the 64th minute of the game Arnold Butter made a throw-in which Tommy Beck played forward. 68 minutes into the game, Ronnys Lärjungar's Tommy Beck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ronnys Lärjungar's Sverker Björk was substituted for Tommy Beck. After 75 played minutes Ronnys Lärjungar got a freekick which was hit by Orvar Glanselius. After 76 played minutes, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edvin Bruhn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uruguay reached it. Sverker Björk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Ronnys Lärjungar's goalkeeper Edvin Bruhn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Kjell-Arne Skott's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After having played for 86 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arnold Butter, made in the 89th minute of the game. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ronnys Lärjungar's goalkeeper Edvin Bruhn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kjell-Arne Skott hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Edvin Bruhn in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximiliano Escribano struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Edvin Bruhn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Uruguay were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
