But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Covarrubias couldn't finish the play. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casper Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Casper Johnsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After 14 minutes Paraguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was August Asmundsson who took care of the corner kick. Casper Johnsson struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dynamo Strandnäs. A collision led to Dynamo Strandnäs getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Conny Abrahamsson hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Dynamo Strandnäs defense, Jaime Pardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Magnus Brummer. The Dynamo Strandnäs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Magnus Brummer should have stopped the shot. Gerrie Mühren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. When Wilhelm Svanberg fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dynamo Strandnäs's protests and gave Wilhelm Svanberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Dynamo Strandnäs getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Wilhelm Svanberg hit a great ball. In the 46th minute of the match Paraguay got a corner. Dynamo Strandnäs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Pardo ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 47th minute of the game, Iker Tafalla landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casper Johnsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerrie Mühren in the 53rd minute of play. Casper Johnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Karl-Magnus Brummer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. August Asmundsson kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Dynamo Strandnäs's Gerrie Mühren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 76th minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Alan Campos hit a great ball. Casper Johnsson scored 4-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karl-Magnus Brummer was a little too slow when Hector Covarrubias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 4-3. In the 97th minute Casper Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Dynamo Strandnäs were victorious despite being under pressure from Paraguay for much of the match.
