The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Carballo during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Wara a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Camilo Rojas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Larkins Potter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Elias Urdaspal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. When Larkins Potter came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Wara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Larkins Potter couldn't finish the play. Larkins Potter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Hemza Khaled charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hemza Khaled the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hemza Khaled kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Elias Urdaspal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 20th minute of play. Larkins Potter was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. Wara's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 29th minute, Wara's Larkins Potter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After a rather tough play, Wara's Cheb El-Hadi got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Larkins Potter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Larkins Potter came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Wara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Larkins Potter couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Faouzi Louahla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 4-0.
53 minutes into the game, Larkins Potter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 55 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. When Wara's Larkins Potter in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Larkins Potter notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 64 minutes, Abel Carballo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Wara players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Wara. Camilo Rojas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benito Sanz. 7-0. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Larkins Potter sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Larkins Potter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After 75 minutes of play, Wara's Larkins Potter made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Larkins Potter went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. When Wara's Larkins Potter in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. 83 minutes into the game, Wara's Faouzi Louahla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Larkins Potter sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Larkins Potter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 90 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Larkins Potter came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Larkins Potter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wara's Larkins Potter got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Wara players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
