The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Ciprian Toma sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Ciprian Toma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 10th minute, Ciprian Toma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dé 周瑜 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Ciprian Toma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dé 周瑜 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Ferrant's late challenge caught a 『挑战者』山羊足球俱乐部's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Ferrant helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice moves Ciprian Toma could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Tạ 赵平建 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of 『挑战者』山羊足球俱乐部 booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Ciprian Toma scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 3-0. Radomil Gaszynski hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Ciprian Toma sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

『挑战者』山羊足球俱乐部's 汪锋银 was substituted for 曾川正. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by 『挑战者』山羊足球俱乐部's Ciprian Toma. But to his dismay, Ciprian Toma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciprian Toma went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciprian Toma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. If Ciprian Toma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Toma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciprian Toma in the 74th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciprian Toma scored 8-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Ciprian Toma notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Tạ 赵平建 came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the 『挑战者』山羊足球俱乐部 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tạ 赵平建 couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Costa Rica! The penalty shot was made by Ciprian Toma, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. 10-0. 99 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Toma came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the 『挑战者』山羊足球俱乐部 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
