Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by LIVERPOOL FC's Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin. But to his dismay, Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jurand Wielopolski. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

LIVERPOOL FC's João Pedro Marquez was substituted for Jim Björkkvist. Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Jurand Wielopolski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. LIVERPOOL FC's Jacek Majusiak was substituted for Aurel Corlățean. LIVERPOOL FC's João Pedro Marquez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Juan Diego Tenorio in the 63 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Rada in the 64th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Liviu Rada went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 75 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Rada came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Pardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Martin Buteanu made a huge save. In the 81stth minute of the game Liviu Rada who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute of the game Liu Zhi Zheng made a throw-in which Kang Guang Chao played forward. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by LIVERPOOL FC's Liviu Rada. But to his dismay, Liviu Rada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. When Juan Diego Tenorio fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Juan Diego Tenorio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Juan Diego Tenorio got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 92nd minute of the match Kang Guang Chao sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacobo Nores skillfully saved the ball. LIVERPOOL FC's Liviu Rada got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liviu Rada's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The LIVERPOOL FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Paraguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
