Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zlatko Ibrahimović started the match with the kick off. After 5 minutes, Wiktor Gomolka made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zlatko Ibrahimović got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Waldemar Wojtowicz's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldemar Wojtowicz helped the player get up and apologised. Kim Hänninen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatko Ibrahimović in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kim Hänninen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Zlatko Ibrahimović had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaroslaw Blochowiak went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 29 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaroslaw Blochowiak who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Fragleses's Jaroslaw Blochowiak to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 31st minute, Waldemar Wojtowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Roch Dejo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Roch Dejo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Zlatko Ibrahimović took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Wiktor Gomolka sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Fragleses defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kim Hänninen. The Fragleses fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kim Hänninen should have stopped the shot. Haralampi Smrikarov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fragleses's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kim Hänninen came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Blochowiak in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Zlatko Ibrahimović cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 63 minutes into the match, Zlatko Ibrahimović had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zlatko Ibrahimović was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Haralampi Smrikarov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fragleses made a substitution. Conrado Cardozo replaced Roch Dejo. 78 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatko Ibrahimović came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Jaroslaw Blochowiak struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fragleses. Kim Hänninen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Conrado Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Jaroslaw Blochowiak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fragleses's Wiktor Gomolka got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Fragleses were the better team. Fragleses's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
