Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aloísio Lima kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tasis to maneuver through the defense. Charlton Livingston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Aloísio Lima made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. After having played for 11 minutes, Aloísio Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aloísio Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Peeters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Peeters got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th minute Tomas Peeters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 20th minute. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Lima in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Tomas Peeters reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 3-0. Charlton Livingston hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Aloísio Lima capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aloísio Lima really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aloísio Lima in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dominik Olchawa was slow to take the kick. During this time PALMEIRAS-UTAH's players had a chance to rest. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Peeters's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Binjamin Ketelers in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Jorge Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Bailey Kerns came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Binjamin Ketelers pulled a muscle in his back after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 56 minutes, Alexander Carballo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the PALMEIRAS-UTAH players grew even worse after the yellow card. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Andre Randall was substituted for Binjamin Ketelers. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Randall in the 59th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Andre Randall shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Andre Randall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Jorge Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bailey Kerns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of PALMEIRAS-UTAH booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Andre Randall. But to his dismay, Andre Randall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Randall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Andre Randall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After 80 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dominik Olchawa who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Bailey Kerns getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 88 minutes into the game, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Jorge Pirani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0.
