Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Steen Müür showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Heineken Youths's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Steen Müür reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steen Müür showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Steen Müür showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of the match. Nico-Jan Pruischer thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Steen Müür, a very annoying self made goal in the 11th minute which led to 0-1. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Steen Müür took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steen Müür showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steen Müür saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Heineken Youths's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Steen Müür reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Heineken Youths's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Agustín Saelices managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The audience thought a goal was coming when Strong Body got free with Julio Vera in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boukjan van Dongen in the 41st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steen Müür showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Steen Müür took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Strong Body blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Strong Body's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

The wind increased when Strong Body made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Edgar van Rijswijk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heineken Youths and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Heineken Youths's Edgar van Rijswijk got a free kick in the 51st minute. A collision led to Heineken Youths getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dennis Heida hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Boukjan van Dongen came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Heineken Youths's Boukjan van Dongen. But to his dismay, Boukjan van Dongen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. A collision led to Heineken Youths getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ramon Zadelhoff hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Steen Müür didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute of play forced Heineken Youths's goalkeeper Steen Müür to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boukjan van Dongen in the 67th minute of play. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Steen Müür made a huge save. In the 85th minute of the match Dennis Heida sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Boukjan van Dongen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Steen Müür made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
